SiCepat Ekspres Indonesia attended the inauguration ceremony for SD Negeri Wikico Rongo, which was held on Friday, April 9th 2021 in Southwest Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara. This is the first school supported by PT SiCepat Ekspres Indonesia. However, our partnership with SiCepat Ekspres started in early 2020 when they helped funding the extension of SD Inpres Nanga Nae in Flores, East Nusa Tenggara.
The representative of SiCepat Ekspres was Rangga Andriana, Corporate Communication, and from Happy Hearts Indonesia was Kiki Mariana, Community Development. This inauguration ceremony was also attended by Dominggus Leko Mboto, Department of Education and Culture of Southwest Sumba Regency, Maria Goret Rambu Woji, headmaster of SD Negeri Wikico Rongo, as well as other teachers and parents.
Previously, the school building was very unsuitable and the conditions were unsafe for children. The ceiling began to break down when it rained, so the teaching and learning process was disrupted due to rainwater that soaked their classrooms. Wikico Rongo is an elementary school for 478 children at Panenggo Ede Village. The new school building was completed in November 2020 and is equipped with 3 new classrooms with proper furniture, 2 toilets, and 4 handwashing stations.
