Empowering the Younger Generation to Access Education

Through initiatives like BYNAMIC and Paper Pals, young people not only express themselves but also play an active role in supporting better access to education for children in Indonesia.

BYNAMIC 2025: From Hope to Concrete Action
BYNAMIC 2025 is an initiative by students at BINUS Serpong that began with a simple hope: to create something meaningful, not only for themselves but also for children in need of better access to education.

Along the way, they faced various challenges, particularly regarding funding, which forced them to adjust their plans. However, through this process, they learned that hope has the power to unite them and drive them to keep moving forward together.

Behind the excitement of the event, BYNAMIC serves as a space for growth, where students learn about collaboration, discover their own potential, and understand that small steps taken together can create a greater impact.

From the very beginning, sharing has been at the heart of BYNAMIC. Aware of the privileges they possess, the students chose to give back and turn opportunity into tangible action by supporting Happy Hearts Indonesia in restoring decent learning spaces for Indonesian children.

Voices from the Students

“This experience has strengthened our commitment to using the privilege and resources we have to help others. We learned that no matter how small the help we provide, it still matters.

We hope that more people will use the opportunities they have to create change and make a positive impact on others.” – BYNAMIC 2025 Team

Paper Pals: Children’s Stories, An Impact That Grows Together
Paper Pals takes a simple yet meaningful approach. Over the course of four weeks, volunteers visit schools to guide third- through fifth-grade students in writing and developing their stories.

In each session, children are encouraged to pour their imagination and experiences into writing, which is then compiled into a book and printed using recycled paper. This process not only strengthens literacy skills but also helps children feel that their voices are heard and valued.

Additionally, volunteers distribute writing supplies to support the children’s learning process at school.

The resulting storybooks are then distributed to schools and the community, while also being sold as part of a fundraising effort. All proceeds from these sales are subsequently donated back to support educational programs, creating a sustainable cycle of kindness.

The change that is created may begin with something simple. But when ideas, compassion, and action come together, the impact can continue to grow and reach more children so they can keep learning.
